Gulf Warehousing Company has opened a dedicated air-to-land logistics corridor at Hamad International Airport, positioning Doha as a regional air cargo hub while reinforcing supply chain connectivity across GCC member states.

Cargo arriving at the facility is loaded into sealed vehicles for transport to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. The operation uses the TIR customs transit system, which enables cross-border movement under a single customs document and reduces reinspection requirements and border delays.

GWC said the model combines airfreight speed with ground transport economics, undercutting full air-to-air routing costs. The sealed corridor addresses supply chain vulnerabilities by allowing flexible cargo redistribution from a single entry point, proving particularly valuable for e-commerce and pharmaceutical shipments requiring speed and reliability without premium air pricing.
