Hong Kong Air Cargo has appointed Aeroprime as its GSSA (General Sales and Service Agent) in India, signaling increased focus on the subcontinent's booming cargo market. Aeroprime will manage cargo sales, marketing, customer relations and business development for the carrier's Delhi operations. The appointment supports Hong Kong Air Cargo's strategy to capture growing trade flows between India and East Asia across electronics, pharmaceuticals, automotive components and perishables. Raymond Chen, vice president of commercial for Hong Kong Air Cargo, called Delhi a critical gateway for high-value, time-sensitive shipments. Abhishek Goyal, Aeroprime's chief executive, cited Hong Kong's status as a global air cargo hub offering access to major manufacturing and trading markets. The partnership follows Aeroglobe Aviation Services' recent deployment handling Hong Kong Air Cargo cargo in Turkey. Hong Kong Air Cargo operates six Airbus A330 freighters serving destinations including Amman, Bangkok, Budapest, Chennai, Delhi, Dhaka, Hanoi, Istanbul, Manila, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei.
