Israel Aerospace Industries' Boeing 777-300ERSF passenger-to-freighter conversion program has accumulated more than 20,000 operational flight hours since the first aircraft entered service in September 2025. The fleet of 11 converted aircraft operates across Europe, North America and Asia, averaging over 350 flight hours monthly per aircraft. IAI received FAA Supplemental Type Certification in August 2025, complementing earlier approval from Israel's Civil Aviation Authority. Launch operator Kalitta Air received the first two conversions from lessor AerCap in September. IAI said additional 777-300ERSF aircraft are undergoing conversion with more scheduled to enter the program. The company is simultaneously expanding its global conversion network to boost production capacity. IAI is also advancing its Airbus A330-300P2F conversion program. Primary structural work has been completed on the prototype, with certification expected by year-end.
