New York-based ITE Management has acquired North American Chassis Pool Cooperative, significantly bolstering its intermodal equipment footprint across North America. The Nashville-based NACPC operates 20,000 chassis serving major markets, bringing ITE's total fleet to 60,000 units. The consolidation positions ITE with approximately 30% of the 200,000 chassis operating within cooperative pools nationwide. ITE emphasized the combined platform now offers coast-to-coast coverage with diverse leasing options including term agreements, daily rentals, and customized programs. The strategic combination strengthens ITE's reach across key freight corridors. All three businesses—Milestone, Trend, and NACPC—will initially continue operating under their existing brands. Chassis availability has remained a persistent constraint in drayage and port operations, making the expanded fleet significant for the sector. ITE highlighted the merger reinforces its commitment to the intermodal segment through operational excellence and specialized industry knowledge.
