Jettainer, Hangyi Form ULD Partnership Targeting China Market

ULD management specialist Jettainer has partnered with manufacturer Hangyi through a memorandum of understanding signed at Air Cargo China 2026, combining the companies' capabilities in unit load device management across Mainland China.

Hangyi will manufacture and supply ULDs to technical specifications while Jettainer deploys its fleet management expertise and JettWareNG digital platform. The partnership integrates IoT tracking and monitoring systems for operational optimization, with Jettainer's UCD team supporting operational coordination and overseeing the technical onboarding process.

Hangyi operates maintenance facilities in China and Kuala Lumpur, with planned expansions in Saudi Arabia, Europe and Canada. Jettainer will support repairs outside these locations through its global MRO network.

The companies will offer combined trucking and logistics services, with Hangyi covering domestic China operations and Jettainer handling European distribution. Warehouse capacity for ULD storage in China is available through Hangyi. The partnership aims to deliver comprehensive ULD solutions to Chinese carriers.
