Kazakhstan-based cargo carrier Jupiter Jet has received a leased Boeing 757-200 freighter from lessor AerSale, marking the airline's first aircraft as it rebuilds operations across Central Asia. The addition represents a significant shift for Jupiter Jet, which traces its roots to Air Company ATMA, established in 1996 and rebranded in 2016. The carrier previously operated Soviet and Russian-built freighters including Antonov An-12, An-74, and Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft before suspending service. The airline retained its air operator certificate during the hiatus and has now secured the 757 to support express cargo and e-commerce networks throughout the region. AerSale cited the aircraft's reliability and economics as ideal for medium-haul operations, while Jupiter Jet executives highlighted the freighter's performance capabilities for serving expanded customer demand.
