Kimberly-Clark is more than halfway through a $3 billion productivity enhancement program launched in 2024, with supply chain improvements serving as key drivers of progress. The company attributes gains to three strategic initiatives: value stream simplification, network optimization and automation scaling, according to CFO Nelson Urdaneta. The CPG maker plans to accelerate efforts this year and next through increased capital investments focused on network optimization. Last year, Kimberly-Clark committed $2 billion to U.S. operations under the five-year plan, including $1 billion for an automated distribution center at its Beech Island, South Carolina facility.
