Knight-Swift Transportation's less-than-truckload division, AAA Cooper, opened four new terminals in May as part of its ongoing network expansion strategy. The carrier added facilities in Phoenix and Olympia, Washington, strengthening its presence in existing markets. New service areas include Detroit and Toledo, Ohio, marking the company's initial entry into those regions. The Phoenix location functions as a major hub supporting regional and national operations. The expansion follows recent openings in Dayton, Ohio; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Jackson, Mississippi. Chris Durley, president of LTL Services at AAA Cooper, stated the additions position the carrier for significant growth across both its LTL and Dedicated Services segments. Knight-Swift's LTL platform now operates approximately 180 terminals. The company acquired AAA Cooper in 2021, added Midwest Motor Express later that year, and acquired Dependable Highway Express in 2024. It also integrated Yellow Corp. locations. Over the past five years, the company has organically added more than 50 locations.
