Kraft Heinz is merging its procurement and supply chain operations under unified leadership as part of a broader operational restructuring. The food manufacturer appointed Janelle Aydin as global chief procurement and supply chain officer effective July 1. Aydin, who joined the company in 2023, previously held the role of global chief procurement and sustainability officer. The consolidation comes as Flavio Torres, the current global chief supply chain officer, departs his position. Torres will remain with Kraft Heinz as an adviser during the transition period. The organizational changes reflect the company's strategic recalibration following leadership transitions and shifting market conditions. Chief Executive Steve Cahillane assumed his role January 1 and recently halted the company's planned split into separate business units.
