Kuehne+Nagel formalized a long-term agreement with Amazon to provide comprehensive supply chain services for the tech giant's data center expansion. The Switzerland-based logistics provider will manage air, ocean, road and contract logistics operations supporting Amazon Web Services infrastructure globally. K+N has collaborated with Amazon for two years, leveraging its freighter fleet to transport servers and equipment across major trade lanes, particularly from Asia to North America. The expanded contract extends beyond air cargo to encompass the complete infrastructure lifecycle, including maintenance, upgrades and facility expansion. The agreement includes a seven-year call option allowing Amazon to purchase K+N shares upon reaching specified commercial benchmarks, settled in cash or equity. K+N operates 3.3 million square feet of dedicated warehouse space for hyperscale customers and has strengthened last-mile delivery capabilities through its trucking operations.
