Kuehne+Nagel has launched a new transatlantic air service linking Frankfurt and Chicago, with onward connections to Atlanta. The service uses one of the forwarder's Boeing 747-8 freighter aircraft and targets pharmaceutical volumes moving between two major healthcare production and distribution centers. Frankfurt, Europe's leading air cargo hub, processes approximately 2 million tonnes of cargo annually and serves as a critical gateway for high-value, time-sensitive goods. The new route expands K+N's Inspire rotation network, which now connects Atlanta, Chicago, Frankfurt, Liège, Sharjah and Taipei across weekly services. The carrier targets industries requiring speed and reliability, including pharmaceuticals, aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, semiconductors and cloud infrastructure. K+N operates more than 100 weekly charter connections globally. The service commenced operations in June.
