LATAM Cargo has integrated IATA's DG AutoCheck solution into its core operational system, marking a regional first for the airline industry. The integration eliminates manual dangerous goods processing and accelerates cargo acceptance timelines. It also strengthens safety protocols. Real-time system validation automatically flags discrepancies and alerts customers, allowing early correction of errors before shipments depart. The platform automatically verifies Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods compliance with IATA regulations and guides acceptance agents through standardized inspection checklists. Validated data automatically generates Notifications to Captain, streamlining administrative workflows. The system provides complete digital traceability for regulatory audits and customer transparency. By automating routine tasks, LATAM Cargo staff can focus on personalized customer service during complex shipment situations. Daniel Leng, vice president of operations, emphasized the efficiency gains and safety commitment. IATA, Wipro and LATAM Cargo collaborated on the technical integration.
