AP Moller-Maersk has elevated Scott Elliott to permanent regional president for Asia-Pacific, formalizing a role he has held on an interim basis since January. Elliott joined the Danish shipping giant in 2020 as regional chief financial officer after two years leading global forwarding operations at Toll Group in Singapore. His career spans over 15 years at Ceva Logistics, where he held senior management positions across the U.S., China, the Netherlands and Australia. The appointment underscores Maersk's commitment to the region, which the company identifies as central to its expansion strategy. Elliott cited the momentum built with customers and partners across Asia-Pacific. Maersk simultaneously announced it has initiated recruitment for a permanent regional finance head to succeed Elliott's previous position.
