Mammoth Freighters has inducted its first Boeing 777-200LR freighter conversion at STAECO's facility in Qingdao, China, marking a significant expansion of its global modification operations. The aircraft, owned by Jetran, represents the inaugural 777 conversion undertaken at the Chinese MRO partner, which Mammoth selected in July. Cameron France, vice president of operations at the Fort Worth-based conversion specialist, called the induction an important milestone for establishing conversion operations in China. STAECO's addition to Mammoth's network strengthens the company's position in Asia's growing air cargo market and provides operators greater geographical flexibility. Mammoth previously delivered a converted 777-200LRMF to Jetran, which subsequently deployed the aircraft to DHL for UK operations. Jetran CEO Jordan Jaffe expressed confidence in the partnership, emphasizing the program's momentum in meeting global freighter demand.
