MASkargo and Qatar Airways Cargo have begun joint freighter operations on a twice-weekly route connecting Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru and Doha, expanding their cargo partnership. Qatar Airways Cargo operates Boeing 777 freighters on the service, providing 200 tonnes of weekly capacity for general cargo, perishables, pharmaceuticals and valuables. The carriers have already transported more than 1,000 tonnes since launching the dedicated operations. The route combines MASkargo's Asian network with Qatar Airways Cargo's global reach, creating gateway access to markets across Europe and North America. Malaysia Airlines said the partnership strengthens network resilience and supports Asia-linked trade flows. MASkargo CEO Mark Jason Thomas noted the collaboration reinforces Kuala Lumpur's position as a strategic cargo hub while delivering enhanced connectivity and flexibility for customers seeking agile logistics solutions.
