Maverick Transportation Raises Pay for Flatbed and Dedicated Drivers

Maverick Transportation, ranked No. 69 among the nation's largest carriers, is boosting compensation for its flatbed over-the-road and dedicated division operators effective May 31. The carrier will increase flatbed OTR driver pay by $0.04 per mile. Starting student drivers in flatbed divisions will earn $0.59 per mile, translating to $73,000-$80,000 in first-year compensation. Experienced flatbed operators will receive $0.67 per mile, or $84,000-$96,000 annually. Beyond the flatbed increase, Maverick will implement pay raises across more than 10 dedicated flatbed and glass divisions.
