Roadside inspectors parked 13,273 commercial vehicles during the week of May 10-17. Enforcement actions spanned both the three-day CVSA International Roadcheck and an extended blitz period.
The enforcement push generated 38,926 total inspections across participating states. The out-of-service rate reached 34 percent, while violations averaged between 1.90 per inspection throughout the week with no meaningful decline as days progressed.
Texas led enforcement activity with 3,905 inspections for the week.
Operators should immediately verify inspection records through the FMCSA's Safer database, as violations settle into two-year scoring windows starting May 4. Carriers have until June 8 to challenge improper citations through the DataQs system with supporting documentation. Documentation errors and mismatched violation codes remain correctable during this window.
