A FedEx shipment containing approximately $963,000 worth of collectible trading cards disappeared from a truck parked at a Professional Sports Authenticator facility in Santa Ana, California on October 13. The driver discovered two full pallets and portions of a third pallet missing after noticing the cargo door lock had been removed. Each missing pallet contained roughly 100 packages of cards. Police have not yet determined the exact theft timeline. The vehicle remained unattended for an extended period. The PSA facility lot is accessible to the public despite being company-owned property. Authorities continue investigating when and where the theft occurred, and a final inventory could adjust the loss estimate. FedEx stated it prioritizes shipment security and is cooperating with law enforcement.
