Chain, a Nevada-based logistics technology company, has launched a new booking automation tool designed to handle routine freight negotiations and carrier outreach for brokers. The Autopilot Booking Agent works within existing communication channels to gather carrier offers, verify compliance credentials, negotiate rates within broker-set parameters, and complete bookings into transportation management systems. The company serves more than 90 freight brokerages, with some customers automating 95 percent of routine track-and-trace communications. Kevin Coomes, chief revenue officer, said the tool targets repetitive administrative work rather than complex shipments. The software escalates exceptions outside predefined pricing limits to human employees. Param Sandhu and Annalise Sandhu founded Chain and initially focused on shipment visibility automation before expanding into workflow automation across broker operations.
