A new US Part 121 cargo airline is being established at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Recruitment is underway for senior operational roles including a director of operations and chief pilot. Andrew Maas, vice president of government programmes for Naniq Government Services, announced the venture will operate Boeing 737-800 freighters. The airline is seeking leaders to build the carrier from inception, developing certification standards, operational manuals, processes and organizational structure. Candidates with 737-800 and cargo airline experience are prioritized. The launch reflects CVG's broader cargo expansion strategy. The airport has invested heavily in cargo infrastructure, including an 80,000 sq ft facility operated by F&F that opened last year and a planned 80,000 sq ft warehouse through Burrell Aviation Cincinnati. Recent cargo developments at CVG have also included a $192m DHL Express expansion featuring a new aircraft maintenance facility.
