Nippon Express has advanced its consolidation of cargo-partner operations across Slovakia and Poland following its 2024 acquisition of regional air cargo forwarding businesses.
In Slovakia, cargo-partner SR officially renamed its entity while the existing Nippon Express branch dissolved. The Nippon Express Slovakia team joined cargo-partner effective August 1. The Slovak operation processed over 45,000 shipments in 2025 and provides air, sea, road, and rail transport alongside warehousing and contract logistics.
Poland's integration took effect July 1, transferring the Nippon Express Poland team to cargo-partner Poland, now rebranded as NX Cargo-Partner Poland. The Polish business handles more than 96,000 annual shipments across nine offices and three logistics centers in Warsaw, Zory, and Poznan, positioning itself as a gateway between Eastern and Western Europe.
Cargo-partner CEO Luca Ferrara said the moves demonstrate the group's commitment to combining local expertise while maintaining operational continuity.
