Jensen Huang joined President Donald Trump's delegation to Beijing this week following a direct presidential invitation. This reversed earlier plans that excluded the Nvidia chief executive from the business contingent. The Nvidia leader's participation in the high-level visit sparked optimism among Chinese artificial intelligence developers, whose share prices climbed amid speculation the trip could facilitate expanded H200 chip shipments to the country. The visit comes as Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Huang have offered differing public statements regarding H200 sales to China, prompting congressional scrutiny.
