Nvidia has entered an engineering partnership with London-based Ineffable Intelligence to develop next-generation artificial systems capable of learning through trial-and-error experience. This collaboration marks a significant move by the chipmaker into reinforcement learning technologies that operate independently of human-generated training data. Ineffable Intelligence, founded in late 2025 by former DeepMind reinforcement learning lead David Silver, secured a record $1.1 billion seed round in April. The funding was backed by Sequoia, Lightspeed, Nvidia, DST Global, Index and Google. The companies will jointly design infrastructure capable of handling large-scale reinforcement learning operations. Engineers from both organizations will coordinate on building data pipelines to support these advanced systems. The initiative will leverage Nvidia's Grace Blackwell chips and Vera Rubin platform to enable the development of systems trained on experience-based learning rather than conventional data sources.
