Ocean Network Express is reorganizing its regional structure effective April 1, 2027. It will establish a consolidated Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore and centralize African operations in Dubai. The new Singapore hub will merge functions currently split between Hong Kong and Singapore, overseeing 15 markets across the region. Louis Tang will serve as Asia-Pacific region head. Separately, ONE will move management of East, West and South Africa markets to its Dubai office, while London retains Europe and North Africa responsibility. The sixth-ranked global carrier operates over 280 vessels with capacity exceeding 2.2 million TEUs across more than 120 countries. ONE said the restructuring aims to accelerate decision-making and growth while maintaining service continuity. The changes support the carrier's "ONE 2030" strategy targeting sustainable expansion and an elevated position among global container shipping competitors.
