Ease Logistics has partnered with Swedish manufacturer Einride to operate Level 4 autonomous electric trucks between its Marysville, Ohio warehouses. This deployment is part of the Truck Automation Corridor Project, backed by the Ohio Department of Transportation and DriveOhio in collaboration with Indiana DOT, and marks Ease's third autonomous deployment under the program. Two cab-less, driverless trucks will begin operations this summer, transporting goods while generating operational data on warehousing, distribution and transportation efficiency. The vehicles navigate routes autonomously while a remote operator monitors performance and intervenes if necessary. The project aims to evaluate autonomous technology's impact on safety and freight operations at scale, moving beyond controlled pilots into daily commercial use. Ease President Peter Coratola Jr. emphasized the deployment advances autonomous trucking implementation while demonstrating real-world reliability and operational benefits.
