Oman Air Cargo Expands Network With Five New Routes Targeting Perishables

Oman Air Cargo is leveraging additional belly capacity across five newly launched routes to strengthen its position in time-sensitive and perishables shipping. The carrier added services from Muscat to Singapore, Tashkent, Sochi, Abu Dhabi, and a Salalah-Dubai connection, all operated with Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. The Muscat-Tashkent route will run twice weekly, serving Central Asia's expanding logistics market and supporting perishables trade. Singapore flights operate four times weekly, providing access to one of Asia's largest air cargo hubs. Michael Duggan, head of cargo at Oman Air, noted the expansion strengthens connectivity across Asia while bolstering the airline's perishables capability. Abu Dhabi receives daily service, while Sochi operates once weekly and the Salalah-Dubai connection runs three times per week. The network additions reflect growing trade flows between Oman and Asian markets.
