OmniTRAX has acquired three Arkansas railroads, marking the company's entry into a major industrial market. The Dardanelle and Russellville Railroad, Ouachita Railroad, and Camden & Southern Railroad were purchased from local operators Danny Robbins, Michael Robbins, and Tim Robbins. The Surface Transportation Board reported May 13 that the transaction may be consummated earliest on May 27, 2026, with operations commencing June 1. The three lines serve the Arkansas River Valley industrial center and Southern Arkansas commodity producers through interchanges with Union Pacific and BNSF. Arkansas has recorded cumulative economic growth 40% above the national average over five years. The region hosts nearly a dozen Fortune 500 facilities and serves customers including International Paper, Stella Jones, Canfor, Delek, 4J, and LANXESS. Prior operators Danny and Michael Robbins will manage the newly acquired lines under OmniTRAX ownership. The acquisition expands OmniTRAX's network to 35 total railroads.
