Orderful has secured $35 million in Series C funding led by Koch Disruptive Technologies, with continued backing from NewRoad Capital, as the startup challenges a decades-old service model that has dominated Electronic Data Interchange operations.
Orderful's platform, launched in December 2025, automates manual mapping work historically requiring months of IT resources, reducing typical onboarding timelines from three months to under one week.
SPS Commerce, the largest publicly traded pure-play EDI provider, generated $751 million in revenue during 2025, with 96% derived from recurring subscription fees. Orderful's model targets that recurring-fee dependency by engineering out the complexity that traditionally justified ongoing service charges.
KBX Logistics, Koch Industries' transportation division, reduced its EDI onboarding steps from 95 to 32 using the new platform, demonstrating operational gains from treating EDI as infrastructure rather than managing around its limitations.
