Philadelphia Man Sentenced in $1.5M Cargo Theft Ring Case

A Philadelphia resident received a 94-month federal prison sentence for his role in an organized cargo theft operation targeting interstate shipments across the region. Salahudin Reddy pleaded guilty to conspiracy and theft charges related to a seven-month crime spree spanning January through July 2023. The criminal enterprise systematically identified unattended tractor-trailers and sleeping drivers, using bolt cutters to breach cargo compartments and remove merchandise.
