Qatar Airways Cargo and ground handling partner Qatar Aviation Services Cargo have recertified under IATA's CEIV Fresh program. This confirms their compliance with international standards for perishable cargo operations. The certification validates their handling and transportation protocols across fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, flowers and confectionery shipments. The recertification, valid through June 2029, reflects the carriers' commitment to continuous improvement through regular audits, process enhancements and staff training initiatives. Both organizations coordinate closely to maintain full adherence to IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations. The airline first achieved CEIV Fresh certification in June 2023. During the 12-month period ending March 31, 2026, Qatar Airways Cargo transported more than 240,000 tonnes of perishable freight globally. The carrier participates in IATA's Perishable Cargo Working Group, contributing to industry standard development.
