Reading & Northern Railroad is expanding its passenger amenities with the introduction of Iron Horse Coffee Company, debuting May 22 across all scenic train rides and the railroad's Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania café.
The brand was developed in collaboration with Firehouse Coffee of Maxatawny, Pennsylvania. The coffee features Firehouse's Colombian blend, CPR® (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), with notes of chocolate, toffee, and vanilla. A decaffeinated option and seasonal varieties will also be available.
The railroad served more than 410,000 passengers in 2025. Andrea Coller, Executive Assistant to CEO Andy Muller Jr., said the initiative reflects RBMN's commitment to enhancing guest experiences during scenic journeys.
"We wanted to create a coffee we are proud of and genuinely excited about," Coller said. "A great cup can make an already memorable adventure even better."
The full-flavor decaffeinated option ensures all customers can enjoy the elevated coffee experience regardless of caffeine preference.
