Rhenus Names Dudley to Lead UK Air and Ocean Operations

German freight forwarder Rhenus has appointed Scott Dudley as managing director of Air & Ocean operations in the United Kingdom. Dudley brings nearly two decades of logistics and supply chain experience to the role. He joined Rhenus in 2019 and has held multiple leadership positions across Germany, the US and the UK, including branch manager for air and ocean in Germany and head of ocean freight for North America. Previously, Dudley spent 10 years with DHL Global Forwarding in operational and commercial roles across Germany, the US and Hong Kong. The appointment aligns with Rhenus's One Rhenus strategy, which emphasizes technology investments, automation and enhanced shipment visibility. The company aims to strengthen support for small and medium-sized businesses while expanding offerings for larger international customers. Regional director Alberto Martinez said the UK remains a key European market. Dudley's focus will be on building capabilities and customer offerings to drive growth.
