Ryder System has acquired Efficiency Enterprises, a regional fleet management and leasing provider operating across the Eastern Seaboard. The deal brings approximately 1,200 vehicles—including roughly 900 power units—into Ryder's Fleet Management Systems division. Efficiency Enterprises operates six locations in Florida, New York, Maryland, and Delaware, bolstering Ryder's presence in key logistics hubs. The acquisition is expected to contribute approximately $50 million in gross revenue to FMS next year while providing incremental earnings growth. Ryder highlighted the strategic value of acquiring an established operation with experienced technicians and existing customer relationships rather than building capacity organically. The purchase marks the company's second FMS expansion in three years as Ryder strengthens its core leasing business despite efforts to diversify revenue streams.
