Sacramento Regional Transit District has contracted Clever Devices to deploy a comprehensive real-time information system across its light rail network. The modernization effort aims to enhance passenger experience, boost operational reliability, and strengthen communication consistency throughout the system. Clever Devices will install integrated rail technology including live train tracking, dynamic signage, automated onboard announcements, yard management capabilities, and advanced analytics platforms. The partnership expands an existing relationship between the two organizations. Clever Devices already supports SacRT's fixed-route bus operations, and the expanded engagement reflects SacRT's broader strategy to consolidate and upgrade its multimodal transportation operations.
