Sacramento Transit Upgrades Light Rail with Real-Time Information System

The Sacramento Regional Transit District has tapped Clever Devices to deploy a modernized real-time train information and passenger communications platform across its light rail network. The integrated system will feature real-time train tracking, dynamic signage, automated onboard announcements, yard management capabilities, and advanced data reporting tools. SacRT aims to enhance rider experience, improve operational reliability, and strengthen system-wide communication. The expansion builds on an existing partnership in which Clever Devices already supports the agency's fixed-route bus operations. The new rail initiative will give riders timely, accurate arrival information while improving coordination across operations, dispatch, and maintenance teams.
