Less-than-truckload carrier Saia launched two new facilities in Marysville, Washington, and Edinburgh, Indiana, as part of a broader infrastructure expansion strategy. The Washington terminal strengthens the carrier's presence in the Pacific Northwest and adjacent regions, while the Indiana location bolsters coverage in a high-traffic corridor south of Indianapolis. Saia now operates seven terminals across Indiana, complemented by Kentucky-based coverage. The company plans to open two additional facilities in June—one in Duluth, Minnesota, and another in Columbia, Missouri. Since 2013, Saia has invested more than $2 billion in network development, growing its footprint to 213 terminals. Operations executives cited improved routing efficiency and service consistency as key benefits of the expansion strategy.
