Saia Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer Ray Ramu noted that customer expectations have evolved significantly since 2017, when the carrier lacked Northeast coverage. Shippers now demand partners that can help solve increasingly complex transportation and logistics challenges beyond basic freight movement.
