SAL Handling has secured a strategic agreement to manage ground handling and air cargo operations for Singapore Airlines at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The annually renewable contract marks a significant expansion of SAL's service footprint across the region.
SAL Chief Executive Omar bin Talal Hariri credited the partnership to the company's operational capabilities, noting the agreement advances Saudi Arabia's aviation infrastructure goals under Vision 2030. The carrier joins an expanding roster of international airlines utilizing SAL's integrated ground handling platform in the kingdom.
The Riyadh agreement follows SAL's broader growth strategy in Europe. Earlier this year, the company moved forward with acquisition of 100% of Aviapartner Liège SA, a Belgium-based air cargo specialist operating at one of Europe's leading air cargo hubs.
