Samsara unveiled a comprehensive rebrand this week as the San Francisco company disclosed annual recurring revenue surpassed $2 billion, marking 30% year-over-year growth. The visual overhaul introduces a redesigned owl logo, custom typeface derived from engineer handwriting, and high-visibility yellow inspired by worksites. The company developed the new identity through extensive customer collaboration, including dozens of interviews and on-site visits with fleet operators and logistics professionals. Samsara's evolution from telematics vendor to what it describes as an AI orchestration layer now serves construction, logistics, energy, retail, and manufacturing sectors representing 80% of the global workforce. Performance Food Group and Pike, both customers, endorsed the rebrand's operators-first philosophy. The rebrand timing reflects Samsara's expansion into comprehensive platform services across industries that generate more than 40% of global GDP.
