Samsara rolled out Driver Perks in September, a national rewards program offering professional drivers free access to discounts from more than 50 brands spanning food and beverage, fitness, wellness, and travel. There is no cost to drivers or employers.
Tens of thousands of drivers accessed the platform within weeks, with high redemption rates. Participating brands include 24 Hour Fitness, Audible, Truck Parking Club, Pit Boss Grills, and Better Sleep — selections informed by driver surveys and Samsara's Driver Council representing short-haul, last-mile, commuter, and long-haul operators.
Survey findings revealed drivers prioritize fitness memberships, audiobooks, and travel over convenience items, signaling demand for off-road wellness and family time. The unexpected popularity of portable grills prompted the Pit Boss partnership.
The rollout represents Samsara's expansion beyond telematics into workforce retention as fleets battle driver shortages.
