Samsara reported second-quarter revenue of $508.4 million, up 30% year over year. This marks the third consecutive quarter at that growth rate. Annual recurring revenue reached $2.1 billion, also growing 30% from the prior year period.
The San Francisco-based connected-operations provider saw strengthening momentum in its transportation segment, which posted the second-highest mix of net new annual contract value behind field services. Mexico emerged as another bright spot, with year-over-year net new contract value growth accelerating for a second consecutive quarter to reach its highest share in five quarters.
Executives noted substantial untapped opportunity in trucking, estimating 50% of North American commercial vehicles remain unconnected and 85% lack AI dash cameras. Large customers continued driving growth, with adoption of the company's latest features surging more than fourfold over two months.
