Samsung SDS is acquiring Korean airfreight consolidator Woojung Air Consolidation, securing a 100% stake in the company established in 1999. The Incheon Airport-based consolidator provides consolidation, booking, loading, customs clearance and regulated agent services alongside real-time tracking capabilities. Woojung Air operates a logistics centre at Incheon's free trade zone and manages digital services through its i Nomad platform. The transaction is expected to close by year-end. Samsung SDS and Woojung Air previously partnered in 2022 to integrate air logistics services into Samsung's Cello Square digital platform. This enables users to monitor complete airfreight movements from cargo arrival through destination warehouse storage. The companies also jointly developed international air logistics solutions targeting Korean e-commerce expansion in the US, Japan, Australia and Brazil.
