Baku-based cargo carrier Silk Way West has expanded its digital distribution by listing capacity on the CargoAi platform. Through this agreement, freight forwarders can access real-time rates and electronic booking capabilities across North America, Europe and Asia via CargoMart's third-party portal. The integration enables bookings for general cargo, lithium batteries and hazardous materials, with direct connections to Transport Management Systems through CargoCONNECT. The partnership enhances visibility and automation across multiple booking channels within Silk Way West's service network. Wolfgang Meier, president of Silk Way West Airlines, described the partnership as central to the carrier's digital transformation strategy. It enables forwarders to access capacity through platforms they already use daily. CargoAi founder and CEO Matthieu Petot said the collaboration makes pricing and availability more accessible while supporting the airline's expansion of digital capabilities globally.
