Singapore Airlines will continue operating five Boeing 777 freighters for DHL Express under a renewed crew and maintenance agreement. The aircraft, which began service in 2022, operate from Singapore Changi Airport connecting DHL's South Asia hub to major U.S. destinations. Each aircraft carries a maximum payload of 102 tonnes, supporting express shipments and e-commerce demand. The renewal reinforces the carriers' operational collaboration on intercontinental routes. DHL Express executive Travis Cobb stated the agreement underscores commitment to expanding network capacity for global trade. Lee Lik Hsin, Singapore Airlines' chief commercial officer, noted the partnership leverages both carriers' expertise to strengthen Singapore's position as a leading air freight hub. The dual-liveried aircraft have become integral to DHL's operations, moving time-definite shipments between Asia-Pacific and global markets.
