SpaceX will begin trading on Nasdaq Friday following its initial public offering at $135 per share. The rocket company's IPO values it at approximately $1.77 trillion, though market participants expect significant upward movement on the first trading day. Prediction market data shows an 84% probability SpaceX closes above $1.8 trillion in market capitalization. Odds of surpassing the $2 trillion threshold stand at 69%, according to traders. A $2 trillion valuation would represent roughly a 13% gain from the IPO price and would place SpaceX alongside only five other U.S. companies—Nvidia, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon—in the exclusive $2 trillion club. Such a closing would also position SpaceX ahead of chip manufacturer Broadcom's current valuation.
