SpaceX rescheduled its 12th Starship test flight to Friday after scrubbing Thursday's launch attempt, one day after filing its initial public offering prospectus. The company will debut Starship V3 from a newly constructed launch pad at its Starbase facility in Texas. The upgraded rocket is designed to deliver 100 metric tons to Earth orbit in a fully reusable configuration with rapid turnaround capabilities similar to commercial aviation. SpaceX has invested more than $15 billion in the Starship program to date. The company views Starship as essential to accelerating satellite deployment for its Starlink internet constellation beyond current Falcon 9 capabilities. Last year, SpaceX's space segment generated $4.1 billion in revenue against a $657 million operating loss. Starlink connectivity services represent the company's primary profit driver.
