The St. Louis Freightway concluded FreightWeekSTL 2026 on June 12 with a retrospective on a decade of infrastructure and logistics development. The virtual session featured a countdown of major milestones achieved since the organization's official launch, highlighting how regional collaboration transformed the bi-state area into a competitive logistics hub. Mary Lamie, Executive Vice President of Multimodal Enterprises at Bi-State Development and head of the Freightway, stressed the organization's coordinating role among public and private sector stakeholders. The Freightway markets the region to site selectors, shippers and carriers while leveraging national and global supply chains. Dennis Wilmsmeyer, Executive Director of America's Central Port, and Steve Zuber, President of BarberMurphy Group, joined the discussion as long-standing partners. Key accomplishments discussed included the Priority Projects List, strategic infrastructure investments and targeted industry initiatives that strengthened the region's multimodal logistics position.
