Stellantis is introducing a new generation of performance-focused pickup trucks under its Ram brand, betting consumer demand for traditional muscle vehicles remains strong despite elevated fuel prices. The Ram Rumble Bee lineup features a 2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 engine delivering 777 horsepower and a targeted top speed of 170 miles per hour, rivaling sports car specifications. Ram leadership expects initial availability of certain variants beginning late 2026, with additional models arriving in the first half of 2027. The automaker sees the move as strategically critical given the expansion of full-size pickups into luxury and off-road segments. High-performance models typically represent a small sales volume but generate three times the profit margin of standard vehicles. These vehicles serve as brand ambassadors to drive broader market appeal.
