FreightWaves Names 2026 AI Excellence in Supply Chain Awards Winners in Chicago

FreightWaves unveiled the winners of its 2026 AI Excellence in Supply Chain Awards during a ceremony at the Old Post Office in Chicago on July 15 as part of the FreightWaves Supply Chain AI Symposium. The program received 60 nominations, double the prior year's total, reflecting widespread adoption of advanced technologies across transportation and logistics sectors.

Awardees were split into two groups: solution providers building tools for the industry and operational users deploying capabilities internally. Solution provider honorees included Arkestro, CloneOps.ai, Intelligent Audit, Fixefy, Augment, Eranova, Gather AI, Trimble Autonomous Procurement, Fullbay AI and Samsara.

Operational integration winners were NFI, Flexport, YMX Logistics, Uber Freight and Atlas Energy Solutions. Arkestro's procurement platform delivered 8% spend savings and accelerated sourcing cycles by 60%. One manufacturer achieved $55 million in savings across 40 plants. An LNG operator reduced sourcing timelines from days to minutes while capturing 29% savings.
