Swiss President Guy Parmelin will meet with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer later this month as the nations work toward completing a comprehensive trade agreement. Parmelin, who also serves as Switzerland's economy minister, will visit the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 29 through July 9, according to his department's Thursday announcement. The meeting with Greer is confirmed but no specific date has been set. The discussions address tariff pressures from Washington as Switzerland seeks to advance bilateral trade relations.
